I Can't Think Straight!!!
How many times do you find yourself stressed out and feeling like you can't think straight?
Maybe it is talking to your partner about church, a family member with an opposing political view, or when that adorable teenager just rolled their eyes at you.
When you don't feel like you have access to your best thinking... you're right!
I like to say when emotions are high, intelligence is low.
Think about it.
We've all been there, and we see it with our people.
Next time you realize your emotions are high, remind yourself it might not be the best time to keep going with whatever you are doing.
Take a breath, go on a walk, pause what you are doing, etc. long enough so you can get your intelligence back.
