Grateful In All Things
As we head into Thanksgiving, I just want to pause and say — thank you.
Each Friday, you take a few minutes to read, reflect, and show up with an open heart. That means so much to me. I’m deeply grateful for the time we share together, for your willingness to do this mixed faith journey with curiosity, love, and courage.
This season always reminds me of a beautiful thought from Dieter F. Uchtdorf. He said,
“We can choose to be grateful, no matter what.
It is not gratitude for all things, but gratitude in all things.”
That simple shift changes everything.
We don’t have to pretend the hard things aren’t hard. But even in the middle of uncertainty, faith transitions, or growing pains, we can still find moments of gratitude — a quiet morning, a shared laugh, a feeling of peace that sneaks in when we least expect it.
So as you move through this Thanksgiving week, I invite you to notice the small, tender things that bring warmth to your heart. Gratitude doesn’t erase the challenges — it helps us see the beauty right alongside them.
From my heart to yours,
Happy Thanksgiving.
Thank you for being here, for reading, and for walking this road with me.
