A Simple Shift That Brings More Connection

My mom used to say, “It’s more important to be kind than right.”

And the older I get, the more I believe her.

Being “right” might feel good for a moment, but what does it really give us?

✅ A winner.

❌ A loser.

💔 Disconnection.

In mixed faith relationships, it’s so easy to slip into “I’m right, you’re wrong.” But notice how rarely that leads to deeper understanding.

Kindness, on the other hand, makes room for connection. For listening. For love.

This week, I invite you to experiment:

✨ What happens when you choose kindness instead of proving your point?

✨ How does it feel to let go of being “right” in exchange for being connected?

Let’s practice choosing kindness a little more often. Our relationships are worth it.
