Gratitude Shifts Everything
In mixed faith relationships, it’s easy to focus on what’s different — the church conversations that feel hard, the traditions that have changed, or the uncertainty about the future. Let's validate that, it isn't easy.
When we are ready, after we have validated ourselves, we can let gratitude gently shift our focus.
When we pause and notice what’s still beautiful — the laughter around the dinner table, the moments of kindness, the ways you continue to show up for each other — something changes. Gratitude doesn’t erase the hard, but it helps our hearts see the good that’s right here too.
This week, try this: 👉 Write down three things you genuinely appreciate about your person that have nothing to do with religion. Then tell them. Out loud.
You might be amazed at how connection starts to grow again.
