What Do You Need Right Now?
Hey Friend,
Take a deep breath and ask yourself: What do I need right now?
Not what your spouse needs.
Not what your kids need.
Not what your extended family, church community, or anyone else needs.
What do you need?
In a mixed faith marriage, it’s easy to get caught up in navigating differences, managing expectations, and making sure everyone else is okay. But when was the last time you paused to check in with yourself?
Maybe you need rest. Maybe you need connection. Maybe you need space to process your emotions without judgment. Maybe you need to let go of something that’s been weighing on you.
Whatever it is, give yourself permission to acknowledge it. You don’t have to justify your needs. They are valid simply because they exist.
So today, I invite you to take a moment—just for you. Ask yourself, What do I need right now? And then, if possible, honor that need in some small way.
You matter too.
