How Are You Feeling About Conference Weekend?
How are you feeling about Conference Weekend?
General Conference weekend can get… interesting in a mixed faith family. One person’s glued to the talks, another wants nothing to do with it, and the kids just want snacks. Sound familiar?
Here are a few quick tips:
🍿 Pick what matters most. Do you need to hear it all live, a session, or will one favorite talk do? You can always go back and watch/read any time you want.
🙋 Let everyone choose their level of involvement. No need to bribe with sugar overload (been there 🙋♀️).
🍦 Create connection your way. A talk together, or maybe one watches while the other takes the kids for a walk. Both count.
💡 Ask: Who do I want to be? It helps when things feel messy. Focus on your experience, not trying to create the perfect experience for everyone else.
Conference doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to work for your family.
